Lizzette Wendroth: Although the cars you named are beasts of automobiles I wouldn't recommend them as your first car. More than likely your first car is going to get all the dings and bumps that are associated with being a new driver. My first car was a 2001 Honda Accord nice safe reliable and over all a nice drive. Now my second car is 1995 5.0 liter Mustang with loud-mouth dual exhaust and a N20 kit 7.5 second car but not so good for a first timer. I would recommend a Civic or if you want to go American a Sebring they are safe cars that are pretty fun to drive. Also no matter what car you end up getting since your a first time driver expect your rates to be on the higher side. Good Luck....Show more
Carolin Southers: Look into the mazda 2. New at about 14,000 I do believe. It is a fun little car. Check out nissan too they have quite a few nice cars that are great on gas.
Dee Depung: Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
Raelene Cunnick: If you can get a new car, go ! for the Ford Fiesta. It will be cheap to insure and have some element of the kind of driving experience you want, that really isn't practical for a teenager to have. The vehicles you talk about all have really high insurance rates... I would never do this, but it looks like the best bet for you, if you need to go used, is a Ford Ranger.4-cylinder for good gas mileage, small for easy maneuvarability(and therefore safety), and relatively easy on the insurance bill.I don't like pickup trucks for many reasons, but compared to your other choices, it makes the most sense....Show more
