Marcellus Exler: Yes, a PC camera is essentially a webcam. The only difference is that the PC camera cannot record video, and is more capable of taking higher resolution stills (pictures) thus *camera*.
David Boehler: Josh has the measure on this one. Though he is wrong about not being able to record video. I wrote a nice little program that records "movies" just fine.
