Samara Siewers: You would be better off double majoring, or majoring in Secondary Education and minoring in Developmental Psychology, because a Bachelor Degree alone in Developmental Psychology isn't going to provide you with many job prospects. You would really need at least a Masters and preferably a PhD before that major/career would reap the benefits. A major in Secondary Education, on the other hand, would not necessarily require an advanced degree before you could start working and making decent money in your field. Combined with a double major or minor in Developmental Psychology, you might be able to earn a little more, and if you do decide to get a Masters, you could even get into Educational Administration one day, if that interests you....Show more
