I am looking to further my education online. What are some good ACCREDITED online colleges that offer programs?

Lillie Yarde: Dear , Couple of days ago I was also searching for same thing and found this http://onlinedegrees.6te.net Wish you a good luck,...Show more

Jess Grizzel: This site has some good information on regionally accredited online degree programs (including secondary ed) and the colleges that offer them:http://www.ecollegefinder.orgI'd recommend contacting a number of schools to find the best fit for you and your needs. Good luck!

David Kuper: Online courses are generally less accepted than classroom ones. In general, avoid for-profit colleges. Your best option for finding a legit, acceptable online course is to find one at the brick and mortar college that you plan to attend later. Even then, brick and mortar colleges tend to limit online courses that can count towards a bachelors degree. Typically no more than about 12 semester hours can be used towards the bachelors degree at a brick and mortar college. Online courses are always going to be considere! d more questionable because some people have been know to hire others to take courses for them. There may be a lot of people out there who got online degrees that didn't really earn them at all. This means online courses are always suspect. The other issue is that actual classroom attendance offers personal contact and socialization not available online. Going to class means meeting people and making new friends. It's all part of the true college experience. This is just an added benefit, along with improved credibility. As a former job recruiter, I can say we never accepted online degrees and generally not any online classes. Your results may vary, but why risk it?...Show more
