Conrad Puleio: 1. You can ask Dell to charge it $2100 and charge the rest in some other way, or take monthly payments.2. You can call your Credit Card company. Most of the time, if you have good credit, they wi! ll increase your credit immidiately for you to use. If they don't, ask for their manager, just don't give up :P...Show more

Andre Winegar: Just call the number on the back of the card and request a line increase. If you haven't made that request in the last six months (and as long as you've had the card for the last six months) they should grant it...as long as you've been a good customer.

Delmy Varano: If the credit card limit is less than the amount of the purchase, then your charge will be declined for being over the limit. You should call your bank and see about doing a credit limit increase; often times they can raise the limit immediately but they will need to do some sort of application for the limit increase; they have to make sure it'll be approved with your current credit score and debt to income ratio. You can also ask Dell to put x amount of dollars on your credit card, and the rest on maybe a check card or a different credit card.
