Marcel Then: my friend had a reverse golden rule that is like that. the golden rule works for me. to to others as you would have them to you.

Jammie Taddei: I seen a movie where the fictional character in it played the role of satan and he said the same thing "do it to them before they do it to you". It's a poor philosophy because if that were the case than all the Africans would have killed all the lions,hyenas etc. just so they didn't have to fear. The motto is based on arrogance & fear, stemming to ignorance and destruction to self and others.The "golden rule" which has been round for longer than anyone knows (perhaps since the beginning of mankind) has always been "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
